She’s done it all
Few people in the industry have worked on such a vast array of projects in different roles. Marci has worked in every phase of show production. This allows her to lead projects of every kind, and bring a unique point of view to each stage of the process. What’s the best way to integrate a special effect into a live show? What film format to use to deliver a striking intro sequence? Whatever the situation, Marci has answers.
She’s a born learner
Marci’s degrees in Business Administration and Communications (with an emphasis on film and television) reflect her creativity and business incite. Since joining BRC, Marci’s job has taken her from the racing pit at Daytona, to the NASA shuttle to backstage at Radio City Music Hall. She has never lost her sense of wonder about learning and experiencing new things. But she’s able to balance this with a keen business sense and an understanding of the practicalities of creating audience experiences. This comes through in the projects she develops for BRC.
She knows how to put together a great team
While Marci is involved in the ideation, her focus is developing a project that will come together on time and on budget. Part of her job is being a matchmaker. First she learns at a deep level what a project needs to be successful. Then she puts together a team -- both within BRC and with industry-leading contractors – that she knows will bring the talent and energy to make the project a success.
She knows logistics
If you’re making a significant investment into an audience experience, you want to be confident that the team you are working with can meet your goals. Marci projects that confidence. Part of what makes Marci special is that while she encourages bold, creative solutions, she is always mindful of logistics. Her goal is to create something magical, while still meeting deadlines and hitting their budget. It’s a gift and Marci’s honed it for over 25 years at BRC.
She’s a born problem solver
Marci’s vast experience makes her ready for just about anything. She knows how to communicate with contractors on specific technical details, and can provide input to writers and designers about story structure and visuals. Her ability to see projects from all sides also helps her identify potential trouble spots before they become a problem.
She makes it her business to know your business
Marci knows that for long-term projects, building a positive working relationship with you as a client is critical. From the beginning of the process she will work to understand your goals, to know what you will consider to be a success, and how the project fits into your broader strategy. This is a guiding force for her throughout the project. It’s why BRC’s clients are consistently pleased with her results.
