A smart listener
When you work on a project with Christian, the process starts with a conversation. Christian asks questions to help you articulate what you want to achieve, keeping in mind what motivates the project and your goals. He builds a relationship; this is the beginning of a journey you will take together. For a designer, the art of listening is one of the keys to putting a project on the right path.
He’s a research junkie
In the early phases of a project Christian learns everything he can about the subject. He will talk to people – your potential audience – to discover the stories to be told and what resonates with them. He eats the food they eat, plays the games they play, lives where they live. He soaks up the history as well as the latest buzz. This gives Christian the richness of detail he needs to start visualizing a project that will achieve your goal.
He knows the power of a great story
Stories are rooted deep within a culture. Christian seeks out the stories that will make an experience come alive for your audience. Working closely with you, he defines a theme. The theme informs all phases of the design process. It is the core of the story Christian and your BRC team will tell.
He thinks in visuals
Christian creates images that resonate with people emotionally. His initial designs will help him show you exciting possibilities for your project. He will hear your feedback and refine the ideas while going deeper into detail. Christian ensures that your guest experience is visually pleasing, and will have a lasting impact on your audience. This is the difference between a good designer and a great one.
He’s relentless
Once Christian has a vision of what your experience should be, he is tireless in making it come to life. He and BRC’s highly creative, specialized team work hand-in-hand with you in every phase of the project. He is a careful planner but will also push your project forward to make a deadline.
He wants you to love your project
Christian works hard to meet all the needs of a client when it comes to their project. He will be just as emotionally involved as the client is, so success of the project is deeply important to him as is the clients passion for the final product. This passion is what will keep the message alive far past the projects opening.
