BRANDED VISITOR ATTRACTIONS SURGE INTERNATIONALLY AS CORPORATIONS SEEK NEW WAYS TO CONNECT WITH TARGET AUDIENCES

ORLANDO, November 16, 2010 – Internationally renowned experience design firm BRC Imagination Arts today announced that two of its most recent branded attractions have garnered significant industry awards from top design organizations.
The Information and Communications Pavilion (ICP) at Expo 2010 Shanghai, designed and produced by BRC for China Mobile and China Telecom, has received several premiere awards for creative excellence. Announced today, the interactive mobile device BRC created for the ICP has won the industry's coveted THEA Award for Outstanding Achievement for "Integration of Technology and Storytelling."
The ICP was among the most popular pavilions at Expo 2010 and received Tencent's QQ.com Expo Award as the top ranked of the six China central corporate pavilions and second ranked among all the corporate pavilions. In addition, the ICP recently won two gold awards for "Best Interactive Element" and "Best Use of Media/AV" from Event Design magazine, plus three honorable mentions in Exhibitor Magazine's Expo 2010 Awards: "Best Use of Technology," "Best Presentation" and "People's Choice." Lastly, the ICP has received a 2010 China's Most Successful Design Award, a prestigious award that celebrates the immense popularity and unique vision of the ICP.
Additionally, the BRC-designed Heineken Experience in Amsterdam continues to draw crowds and recognition. Time Out Amsterdam recently presented its 2010 "Best of Amsterdam" awards, naming the Heineken Experience the "Best Tourist Attraction of Amsterdam." Time Out readers and international visitors voted for the Heineken Experience as their favorite tourist attraction, resulting in the highest score of any of this year's award-winners.
