U.S. Department of State Reveals Pavilion Design for World Expo 2025 Osaka
The Department of State is pleased to reveal Trahan Architects’ Design of the USA Pavilion for Expo 2025 Osaka.
The architectural design of the USA Pavilion at Expo 2025 was led by Trahan Architects. The project team includes ES Global, BRC Imagination Arts, Alchemy, and HOOD Design Studio.
Expos, also known in the U.S. as World’s Fairs, are historic opportunities to showcase American values, enterprise, culture, and global leadership and to work with international partners to tackle shared global challenges. The USA Pavilion theme “Imagine” encourages visitors to visualize themselves in the United States as we support advances in sustainability, space exploration, education, and entrepreneurship.
The pavilion will be an “invitation to the world” to gather, talk and find meaningful ways to contribute to society. The six-month Expo, which opens in April 2025, will host musical performances, talks and cultural events during while a landscaped garden will see visitors explore various plants native to the US. The Pavilion is expected to receive nearly 30 million visitors over the course of its six-month duration.
